The Universal Vertebrae was originally commissioned as part of the Wilshire Good Samaritan Hospital in Downtown, Los Angeles in 1965. In the 90’s the public sculpture was removed to multi-family housing apartments.
Presently, the sculpture is seeking a new permanent relocation in Downtown Los Angeles and is a Los Angeles Historic Public Artwork.
